The seven things every student will learn in the Aviator Student Ministry

These are 7 systematic approaches to growing our students spiritually. Our hope is that by the time a student graduates these 7 things will carry with them. We will cover one of these points at every Aviator Students event or student group.

1. Authentic Faith
Principle: God can be trusted: He will do all he has promised to do.
Critical question: Are your students trusting God with the critical areas of their Lives?
Key Bible Verse: Proverbs 3:5-5

2. Spiritual Disciplines
Principle: When you see as God sees, you will do as God says.
Critical question: Are your students developing a consistent devotional and prayer life?
Key Bible Verse: Romans 12:2

3. Moral Boundaries
Principle: Purity paves the way to intimacy
Critical question: Are your students establishing and maintaining godly moral boundaries?
Key Bible Verse: 1 Thess 4:3-8

4. Healthy Friendship
Principle: Your friendship determine the direction and quality of your life
Critical question: Are your students establishing healthy friendships and avoiding unhealthy ones?
Key Bible Verse: Proverbs 13:20

5. Wise Choices
Principle: Walk wisely
Critical question: Are your students making wise choices in every area of their lives?
Key Bible Verse: Ephesians 5:15-17

6. Ultimate Authority
Principle: Maximum freedom is under God’s authority
Critical question: Are your students submitting to the authorities God has placed over them?
Key Bible Verse: Romans 13:1-2

7. Others First
Principle: When you make your self nothing you are really something
Critical question: Are your students putting the needs of others ahead of their own?
Key Bible Verse: Philippians 2:3-11

The Goals:

  • In Aviator Students our top priority is to Honor God in everything!
  • In Aviator Students our hope is that everything we do is producing healthy friendships. Pastor to students, volunteer to students, and also student to student.
  • The product we are trying to produce is students in love with Christ
